Module Depth?

Post by r05c03 » Thu Jan 21, 2010 7:40 am

I have searched over the technical info regarding synth.com's module and do not see a module depth indicated. What is the module depth?

Synthesizers.com modules are very shallow because the PCBs are mounted parallel to the front panel. i think they're less than 3 inches.

i'm the jerk who puts them perpendicular, but they all do fit in the Synthesizers.com cases except for the Mankato, which does not fit in the portable case.

Most Synthesizers.com modules are 2.5" deep. You can find this hidden info on their website, under the "DIY" link and then under the heading "Mounting the Power Supply".

I have some Club of Knobs LFO's that are 3" deep.

The only Dotcom module I've seen that is somewhat deeper is the Q119, which is still about 3". The Q960 could possibly be a little deeper as well. The line is great for narrow cases.

Cheers,
Brian
