Help needed please - SympleSeq power header question

Post by HowDoIKnow » Sun Jan 25, 2015 10:11 am

Hi

The short thread about this from last year, where I added my question, has disappeared, so I'll post again:

I am confused about the pin allocation for the power header here - I am not building it as a Euro module and will wire the power lines in directly. The picture seems to imply the 4th terminal from the outside edge of the board is +ve, are the inner most terminals both ground, and will the outermost terminal (nearest the other header) also be positive? Do all four terminals require wiring?

:help:

Many thanks

Answering my own question, Part 2

I recalled the excellent documentation for the Oakley modules, where there is a description of the MOTM power connection, so now all is clear to me.

And also:

Flexible Power
- Consumes ~15mA @ +15/12/9V
- Does not need a negative supply rail
