Time Machine vs. DAD?

Post by Kwote » Tue Feb 23, 2010 12:25 pm

Thoughts? I LOOOVVEEEE the TIME MACHINE :love: :love: ,

But I need money immediately and I'm kinda loving the half space delay concept. Help! And by help I mean be objective. :hihi:

you know the DAD is an envelope, not a delay, right?

The details on the site are a little sketchy at the moment. I thought there used to be a detailed description of the module on the first page below it's picture which is no longer there but my understanding that it is merely an EG with a built in gate delay.

Cheers,
Adam-V

snaggin' a BugBrand PTdelay might be your only option for a half space unit :bugbrand:

i thought it was a delay at first. it's a delay attack decay generator.

...which in minijack form seem to be non-existent!

the lack of more delay or A sampler module in frac might be my only regret with this format.

buy a barebones kit... all of his barebones kits are easily put together and essentially built when you get it.

Ok, cool! Looks pretty rad... I guess the barebones kit is not quite ready to go yet though.

You need 12V power for this though, no? Kwote has all 15V as far as I know.

I don't think so. Flight makes all of his modules to run off 12v and 15v as well. I've bought 2 PB's and 1 Choices (both barebones) and they can run off 15v. He's got mad love for us DIYers!

Another thing to mention is this blog post on his site;

Looks like he's halting selling barebones stuff for a little while. It made me sad cuz I was planning on getting the SoS barebones style

yeah, I'm in the same boat (15v), so that's good news.

I say email him regardless... I believe all BB sales are via email and probably paypal. He might have some boards to sell... doesn't hurt... and you'll get a better idea of the situation.
