This is a REALLY awesome move....

I have one of the larger "plastic bottom" cocodeer, it was my first coco, honestly the combo of coco and deer makes so much sense.... Using the DH to cut audio in/out (using the Dolby filter switches) with a wave of the hand is such a fantastic way to use the CQ

These are going to make a lot of people happy I think

That is very cool.

I still wish he would do a Plumbutter with a double voice section and MWRS/Rollz at each end.

I think he went all banana jack a liltte while back.

I miss my alligator clip CQ badly. When I'm able to buy another CQ I'll definitely save a little more so that I can get a Coco Deer. This is good news.

Indeed, this was my rig the other night at our meet, thanks to SCY1E...

However, the most fun for me were the two Deerhorns' modulated by the CocoQuantus.

Someone buy my Coco v1 please, as there's a DeerCocoDeer in my future!

Now I want to remove my coco from BST, but , alas... Other directions beckon...Perhaps I'll put it on eBay for $16 :75: .69

On a more serious note, how is the Rollz+Coco/Quantussy?

:woah: super nice CL rig, Muff Wiggler! i really hope you make some recordings and post them here for us to listen to sometime!! :bananaguitar:

:hmm: DEARcocoDear certainly does looks quite the awesome; but i also still dearly  the antennae on the MQ CocoKeravos which lend themselves to somewhat different styles of playing than the CL decorative antennae... I could definitely see having both models to play with though!

cheers

I have experimented with different antennae on my Deerhorn, from gator clips with wire to foil, all have different properties. The telescoping antennae were quite good - and loong...

how did you guys get the telescoping antenna hooked up to the deerhorn?

I'd love to do something with a couple shnths and then replacing the corps with antenna for a desktop machine

shnth into shnth just seems like it would be a blast

how are you liking the rollz plank @muffwiggler that setup looks like a bunch of fun

here is how Meng Qi wired up the antennae to the Deerhorns on the CocoKeravos:

so pretty simple -- just one wire per antenna, soldered to the small pad on the upper-lefthand corner (in the lower picture) of the Deerhorn pcb .

Not for the squeamish, but you cn use any antenna you'd like with the Dearborn.

The brass screws on PB 2 are actually the Antenna connections... :woah:

I believe the orange outs of the tussy section on the CQ would control the deerhorn the same way I do in these videos except the triangle wave would have more"wave" than the orange out of the 4 roll

sorry for posting these videos in several places but I thought they were relevant to each of the topics
