Noise ring normalization (Sorry for all the banana-spam!)

Post by Ekofisk » Wed Mar 10, 2010 4:53 pm

I am currently trying to bananafy my frac Wiard noise ring.
One of the challenges are the normalled jacks.
Usually this is solved by the use of switches, I believe.

On my NR (the 1210), there are only six outputs. Aux out is normalled to ext rate in. I figure I can just clip the wire and skip the switch, as this is patch programmable by patching aux to ext in anyway, right?

However, the other normalled jack is chance input. I am not really sure what is happening here, as both wires go to J11 and J13 on the board.

How to solve this?

I guess what I'm asking, is what is the difference between the six output one and the eight, in terms of wiring.

Thanks, man! It's really enjoyable.

I'm sure you won't enjoy it as much when I tackle the WVX? :nana:
