DFW Synth DIY meet up

Post by pristak » Sat Aug 09, 2008 10:22 pm

Our first meet up went very well. Met a lot of folks. We had at least 30 people show up. Not everything shown was DIY, but that wasn't the idea at this point. The idea was to get synth folks together to encourage a Synth DIY community.

Paul from MOTM came and showed off a couple of upcoming modules. The future looks very bright. He also showed a Frac dual VCA that he will be shipping to Analog Haven this week. He seems very interested in porting his designs to other popular formats.

Thanks especially to Rob and Lars for their help getting things together.

We hope to do it again in about 2 months, with a possible working meeting in the meantime for those interested.

She is Lars' friend. She just bought a Moog Rogue. He built many of the larger DIY synths you see.
