...or get your free album, whichever way you roll. I want more music by you Wigglers.

Either way, post a link to your albums here. I know there are links scattered all over this site, but I dig a central repository! Could be a download, or a CD or cassette or whatever.

I'm only interested in proper albums (couldn't care less what genre), not demos or when you're just messing around. Something you created with purpose to be released as an album.

I will be shameless and start off with links to my stuff:

I, Parasite - http://music.iparasite.net

While not really an album I did string a bunch of my droney junk together into an 18 minute long gapless mix with the intent that all 5 (or is it 6) pieces should be listened to as a coherent collection. I have two more 'songs' that fit with this collection but haven't had the time to add them. In the meantime...

Devi Ever did all the artwork/packaging and orders.

Its not my best work, but its the only piece of music I have released as a proper "product" with artwork and CD.
Each one different and part of one large puzzle.
3 of them sold right away to 2 forum members here(Thanks Felix and JWM!) and one random person I don't know(that felt good knowing it was someone I didn't know), and I gave 2 away.
Then they sat for 9 months and no one wanted them.........
I had the option of having the remaining 5 sent back to me for free since they weren't moving,
I should have accepted that offer, instead I had them sent to Subconscious Communications where they were hopefully listened to and not tossed in a trash can.
I wish I had kept one for myself d'oh!
Ahhh growing pains...... hihi

Mike Lynch - Substation Songs (2006)

Mike Lynch - Radar (2008)

They're both 5 (or 6) track EPs. The first, Substation Songs, is fairly electronic and took me close to two years to complete in my spare time!

The second, Radar, is more 'guitar band' orientated and I knocked it out over a period of two weeks.

I haven't done much since then as I've focused my efforts on playing guitar in a band. However, the band has just dissolved so I'm free to make music on my own again. I'm going to try and do some sound/music for film.

My audio drama soundtrack:

iTunes · emusic · Amazon MP3 (US) · Amazon MP3 (UK) · Zune

Double CD. Starts out as electronic ambient, then turns to hybrid symphonic/electronic as the action picks up. Builds to a hard techno piece for the "chase scene," with a dark, ambient piece for the dénouement.

Plenty of Arturia virtual classics throughout. I'm still planning my first rig, so no "real" modulars yet.
polyroy
My EP can be found on bandcamp. It's a blend of stuff that i've been making over the last couple of years but I think the stylistic change is kinda subtle.

I try not to pigeon hole it into a specific genre, not to sound all pretentious or whatever but I draw my inspiration from lots of different music. Ive always enjoyed experimenting with sound but wanting to make it melodic as well is always important to me, so i'm forever trying to balance out trying to write music and creating interesting soundscapes. Sometimes it takes a while or sometimes it comes hand in hand!

Hello Wigglers,

I hesitated to announce my last CD here because... it doesn't contains synth/modular sounds ! It is based mainly on field recordings.
But maybe some would be interested...

Since four years I live in Taipei, and I am both enjoying and hating the noisy/fascinating soundscape of this city. The only way for me to tame this urban environment has been to record it. And since my arrival, I tried to compose with it. I had three commissions dealing with the environment of Taipei : "Nous, les défunts" (2008 - SilenceRadio), "Taipei 2030" (2010 - PositiveSoundscape) and "Ketagalan" (2011 - Parisonic).
Now, these three compositions are available on CD, reflecting three listening of Taipei.
Read more about it, listen online one of the pieces (and eventually order the CD) on my website :

Great thread, only just found it and have been listening through it for the best part of an hour. There's some really great stuff in here.

My EP/mini album of 2010 is available for free download on bandcamp as all physical copies are gone. It was made with modular, CS-15, Evolver, MPC, laptop and effects.

The album I released late last year is still available, either as download or CD.

Happy listening!

Hope you guys enjoy this ! And thanks for taking the time to listen.

I finally set up a Bandcamp page today and uploaded a new album to go with it.

One track just under 27 minutes, a single mildly edited and processed live take from a few weeks ago. I was aiming for something a little lighter in tone than my usual but a friend I gave an advance copy to described it as "very grave, and dark. Also complex and difficult to describe, theres a lot going on, each part is different."

Send me an PM or email and I'll send you a downloadcode for an EP or album from our bandcamp, this is a great topic. Give people a place to promote their stuff and someone else runs into the topic years later and discovers a lifetime of nice creative music!

I would love to make a seperate Itunes account with only music by forum members I enjoy following, music by friends and independant discoveries through blogs.

That music is already special and there's more freedom in their releases, so it can be wilder and better designed or produced than a lot of the contemporary commercial music out there.

Thanks! thumbs up

My new release came out yesterday. This whole thing was formed from modular recordings. Lots of jams chopped down and refined into these tracks. Nothing crazy in my case, mostly sequences from the rene into morphing terranium and rubicon. Lots of wogglebug dong it's thing all over the place. Processing and reverb in the DAW. The next step is to start utilising reverb in the recording process.

I have 2 albums available just now (and another coming soon), "Electro-Funk Selection", and the newest is "Quantum Theory". These are all full production albums, some tracks have also featured on compilations by well respected labels in all formats, as well as getting stellar album reviews on various music sites.

There are also a few miscellaneous tracks on bandcamp if you prefer the more chilled stuff, the latest being "Serenity".

You can also find my stuff on iTunes, Amazon, Juno, etc. but for instant gratification to myself as an artist, I much prefer bandcamp.

Thanks for your interest.

This is my last release (out today!) :

http://devinsarno.com/absenceofwax/?p=2218

Quote:
Curar is a work between music and sound, between sound art and installation.
It’s a process, a slowly evolving drone, always the same and always different.

I wanted to make something like sonic medicine.
I used two analog synths: Arturia Minibrute and Roland SH101.

This piece should be better experienced between good speakers or with a good headphones pair.

In Spanish, « curar » means cure, heal or treat…

Hi

My LP is just released.

Live recorded drones with 2 Synthis.

Although each side can be enjoyed separately, full listening experience will only occur listening to both tracks together, with the lag you wish.
All is possible, each listening will be a new journey whose end depends on the set and the setting.
Having a second record is thus highly recommended w00t

You can listen to it on Bandcamp and if you like, please contact me directly for purchase.

€12 for 1
€20 for 2

strategic partnerships can be one of the most productive assets in your portfolio.

synergetic participation often leads to innovation, growth in intellectual capital and a (sometimes) remarkably positive dividend. the pan-national ayn rand institute is proud of its role in bringing together these leading innovators in electronic environmental enhancement.

already acknowledged as a classic in the genre of inspirational / motivational electronic music, black lung’s 'the great golden goal' herein benefits from strategic capital injection, asset consolidation and focussed rebranding. the rewards are manifold and on-flow bilaterally - a material / philosophical benefit toward the content creators and a bountiful reward of sensory stimulus for the client / consumer.

New record available now on Nada Records.

http://www.nadarecs.com/

The latest album from Bay Area sound artist Collin McKelvey. The Nolan is a reference to the Neapolitan philosopher Giordano Bruno (1548 – 1600), an early proponent of free thought and critical inquiry. Celebrated for his cosmological theories which went beyond the then new and unpopular Copernican heliocentric model, proposing that the stars were distant suns with their own rotating planets, and moreover the possibility that these planets could foster life. He was exiled multiple times and eventually put to death by the Catholic Inquisition for his beliefs in Astronomy and the Art of Memory, being turned in by a Venetian aristocrat who had tricked him in coming back to Venice.

The Nolan comprises of five pieces, documenting McKelvey’s output from 2013-2014. His work investigates the relationship between phonography and synthesized sound; utilizing field recordings, granular synthesis, computer synthesis, and modular synthesis. Two of the pieces were originally composed to accompany film and video.

i have now uploaded all my stuff on soundcloud. 3 albums full of melancholic
electronica / IDM. some of it is pretty melodic and some experimental. some vocals, and some real intruments, and some modular.
its not club music but more made for home enjoyment. to go deep and to relax. some is very chilled and some is much more experimental. im very proud of it, even though some of it is back from 2002.

Just put this out. More oriented to traditional song-oriented forms with vox/lyrics, etc.. Built my modular rig about half way through the recording process, so it's in there, but not as much as new work being made now. The modular is now the main compositional tool. More to come. Thanks! Hi all!!!

I am a new one here, but as a way of introduction, here´s a two examples of my music:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mqz22ns2zUA

that one is entirely made with a DX 7 mk 1, all sounds created from scratch.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvuEzbuFMb4

and that one has quite a bit of Ensoniq Fizmo in there

thanks for checking them out...

Our new album is out now on Vince Clarke's VeryRecords. Chock full of musick, mysticism, synthesizers, and even Vince himself.

I'm a guitarist collaborating with a multi-instrumentalist who is composing using Native Instruments sampling and synth engines Kontact and Reaktor. Specifically, this piece features him using the Absynth and Guitar Strumming sample engine performed with the Linnstrument MIDI controller. I'm playing lines on Ovation guitar with some impulse response circuits.

We're categorising it as electronic, progressive, ambient, tribal-fusion. Interested in your reaction.

Following on from debut release Delamere, Manchester-based ambient producer, The Last Ambient Hero presents two new long-form pieces ‘Cassini’ and ‘Trappist-1’ available on cassette and digital formats.
Inspired by the early electronics of pioneers such as John Chowning, Laurie Spiegel and Jaap Vink.
Generated live using cellular automaton & deterministic event generation software controlling the PreenFM2 synthesiser & Eventide DSP.
The master tape was made directly from the computer system at TSE which recorded and stored the sound data in digital format.
No other analog recording was involved at any stage of the production and editing process.

I love this thread!

This is my first album that I released three years ago:

https://naturligfunktion.bandcamp.com/album/your-inner-monkey

It was before I got a synth, way before modular and all that. Made this by sampling records hehe.

My second album is about to get mastered, which is way more synth heavy.

Anyways, enjoy!

While staying in the Aloha State, I sampled local sounds and created this mini album. It's very chill and a bit ambient-ish, with a hint of electronica.
