Went to see Troyka on Wednesday night, Great band. One of the new British Jazz groups kicking arse at the moment. While not exactly electronica you should check out the sounds that Kit Downes gets out of the Hammond. Awesome to watch. Just goes to show what can be done with superb technique and musicianship. Looked like he was using some effects from a Line 6 Amp too, but really subtle.
Recommended if your into the jazz thing. |
