ADDAC 300 power starvation works well with EKO
So Eko is (un)powered by the Power starvation !

Drums = Maschine (Based on Voyal kit)
SEQ = Korg SQ-1
Lead = Basimilus Iteritas (best synth module ?)
FX = EKO (glitched by Addac power starvation)
FX 2 = Ladik M-330 (Room 2)
I just change note with left hands on my SQ -1 and tweak the knobs +12v and -12v on addac power starvation with my other hand ! ....

There are two power connector on the back and can drive ....two (max 90 or 150 ma, depends of your version )! I never tried digital module !
Switches and knobs are not easily twekable because the module is really tiny and doesn't offer cv input.
I had result with hh909, ufold, d-lfo, Maths, Alex and June, and eko.

xenosapien to my knowledge is simply lets less power through. So with +12 and -12 for the eurorack power it can scale that down to say provide only +4V and say -8V (as they're on separate controls) making the circuit react differently as it's underpowered. It's like having a dying 9V battery in a guitar pedal. So get some tremendous sounds from underpowered circuits and this let's you do that (safely I presume, don't know much about it) to modules.
Nice audio demo, like the dying EKO sound and even more so starving it's power!

I don't know the science of it, but have done a lot of power starving with guitar pedals in the past. The sound it tends to produce is a sort of buzzy, tearing, breaking apart, stuttering type of effect; it's pretty distinctive. Some distortions/modules even have built in starve controls like the Dwarfcraft Great Destoryer. There's some pretty good examples of starve sounds in the demo video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJhYxLwhtcE

aaah, thanks - the "dying battery" thing makes sense to me, as I know how that sounds.ben_hex wrote:xenosapien to my knowledge is simply lets less power through.
