So all this Mutable hullabaloo has me thinking about resonators. There's Ableton's native plugin (really more of a tuned delay, innit?), but what else is out there?

NI's Prism uses modal synthesis like Elements and some of the modes on Rings. I think there is an external input version, too, but I am not sure.

Yes correct on both counts, there is an FX version where you feed it audio.
I think it sounds pretty great.

I did not know that. I'll have to try that. I guess you load it via Reaktor FX and choose it from the library tab?

ariesverb, though it's basically abandonware, can resonate and much else besides

either deal with the no-recall on the latest demo or check out the older beta which saves settings

EDIT: and also exponential audio's excalibur! brilliant multi-fx plug by a lexicon programmer

......just that i payed something like 138€ or so not too much time ago.

I TOTALLY like the Ariesverb ! its one of its own.
just that there seem to be no option to automate anything or to map a controller to it.
though, not what it could be vs. ....if we could map a controller to the main parameters............./what a waiste
