I'm working on it!
I'm out of joysticks, but finally heard back form the distributor recently. He's now waiting to hear back from the factory, so hopefully soon.

I too would love a choices soon for live joystickery. :cgs: ( <- that's not a unicorn, it's a joystick on a horse)

Many apologies for the silence! I rarely have time to get online these days.
Joystick Status Update:
The order has been placed, but they have a 90-day lead time. They should arrive in August, and then Choices production will resume.

(LMAO about joystick on a horse!)

Say I don't want to wait until Aug for the joysticks to come in.

What if one buys the frac version of Choices from Analogue Haven.
Then I send it to Flight to have it converted to Euro format.
How much would that be?

I could see that AH would benefit by reducing their stock of a not too well selling item. We would have a Choices sooner than later.

But of course I don't know how much work is involved.
Would it take too much of Flight's time?
Not cost effective?

Thanks for the feedback.

:hmm:

I completely forgot about those fuckin' things... That's a damn good idea!

It's a simple conversion: remove from panel, remove the frac header, install a Doepfer header, and stick it on a euro panel. There may be some small concomitant issues to deal with, but nothing too major. So say about an hour of labor and the parts ($25) plus the return shipping. Hell, call it $30 total. Whaddaya think?

Really I would like to do it.

So here's a proposed flow:
We give people a week to get their order into AH.
Pay Shawn.
Shawn ships 10-20 (whatever) to Flight in one batch.
We pay Flight $30 (are you set up for PayPal, etc?)
He ships the converted units to the individual purchasers.

Here's another scenario:
Shawn sets up a separate item in the FoH section.
There's a Euro version $145 (currently out of stock)
A Frac version $145
A Frac converted to Euro version $175 (or whatever).
We order from Shawn.
Shawn ships to Flight (and pays him some bucks).
Flight does his conversion magic and ships to end user.

End users get their module faster so they are  , slow moving inventory is moving again so Shawn and Flight are :hihi:
That's a win-win-win  .

Anyone else interested?

Yup!
I've been keeping quiet about it because I'm freaking slammed (hooray for another sleep-dep marathon!) and can't do much with them just yet. Too busy filling dealer stock orders.

Choices modules are on their way to various distributors as well as being available from us. I only have one ready-to-go unit on hand but can build more.

Hi RichyHo, and everybody else,
[ :soapbox: ]I just started a small web shop for euro rack modules, it´s jus ta week old. Located in Sweden but I´m happy to ship everywhere (Within Europe makes most sense for the buyer I guess).
And yes, I have Choices as well as Flights other modules in stock. [/:soapbox: ]
