i rarely listen to "interval-based music", but these two albums are fenomenal! we're not worthy
exscuse my musical ignorance, but are these your own scores, did you compose it?
dugoutcanoe
applause bravo. great work
drcz
oshit and there's so much more... man this is brilliant! bookmarked for more tonal mood.
the titles are awesomely dada -- "Eine Kleine Nekopanmusik" love

...do you perhaps do stuff in quater-tones as well?

edit Good luck with finding a bigger hat! unfortunately where I currently live the hats are too tight in general. Spaniards are slim-headed and they talk a lot, thought there might not be any correlation. To close this edit, some more hails, well deserved we're not worthy we're not worthy we're not worthy
nikmis
Yes I composed it all, and no I never tried quarter tone. I did this album with different tunings, but it's just slightly off equal temperament like Werckmeister... Something that I'm not sure made a big difference in the end.i used Silent Way's microtuning .

Thanks for helping with the santa hats. It's starting to get depressing. If I don't find one by next winter I don't know what I'll do
nikmis
and another, that's three in one year I'm on a roll

This is really great work. Highly skilled sounding, but still unique. applause

Very nice, I am only on the second song (of 10 movements for large synthesizer) so far but I feel the classical/Rick Wakeman vibe and I like it smile This could have been performed by an orchestra, but I know I'd prefer this version any day!
nikmis
I guess I should listen to Rick Wakeman, people always bring him up
unexpectedbowtie
This isn't a style of music that I am familiar with, but I am impressed! I don't think I've ever heard electronic classical crossover... if that is what it is. Forgive my ignorance smile
cynical
nice stuff!

Nice, man. Very elegant. You using any 901 moog oscillators in this? The strings have a cool 1970s Kubrick film sense to them.
nikmis
Thanks! No Moog oscillators, just Thomas Henry 555 vcos and a MFOS vco. I have a Moog 904 filter clone, a minimoog filter clone, and two versions of the cp3 mixer from the diy forum though
