http://is.gd/2bM5 <- Very early "mix" of my new track. Loud, squishy drums over digital synth hardness. Not a lot of modular sounds in there, a few.

Interesting bit o' info; main theme is 64 bars long :)

:sb: Definitely not too digital for me! Love the drums - what are they from?

Details!

When this is done would you be interested in letting me use it on my podcast?

glad you liked it! It's actually a little over a bar of drums, sampled, sliced and reprogrammed by hand. 32 bars of it, iirc. Took a while, but yielded the results I wanted. Thoroughly flattened using a compressor, and then an open slushy hihat, sidechained in.

I'd be honoured! :)

thanks guys - I love that wall of sound build build build, hehe! Can't believe I got that done in less than a day when I usually sit around complaining I haven't got any choons left in me

Really, totally wicked. Loved it. Reminded me a little of Dave Fridmann/Flaming Lips production/progression..

Cool track, I like the squished drums. Expected to hear Thom York wailing at some point.

Got sidetracked remixing KidTeslas AFG workout thing. Hope the Kid doesn't mind.
