Juno 60 transposition problem after installing juno 66.

Post by casiotone » Tue May 17, 2016 5:03 am

Hi

So i've installed the Juno 66 chip, everything looks like it's working except the entire keyboard got permantely transposed ( C is now G#, C# is now A, etc).

This happens both on the Juno keyboard as in midi notes sent to the port.

Tunning is completely stable so this looks like the keyboard got transposed but transposition key is not accessible anymore?

How can i fix this, as this turns the keyboard mostly unusable.
Thanks

Never seen this problem before, but I suspect it has something to do with the pitch bend parts install.

Did you connect the red wire?

Can you post a picture of your installed pitch bend parts?

thanks

Well, my tech just checked and it was some bad contact, it took 5 seconds to solve.

Sorry for this, it was our fault not a defect.
You can delete the thread.

Thanks for this absolutely amazing upgrade, i'm stunned
with all the functions.

Best

Hi guys, I just installed the Juno 66 in my Juno 60. Everything seems to be working "I think" except for one thing. When I turn the DCO up on the bender panel and move the bender left, the pitch sounds "glitchy" and the pitch of the note jumps around. What could this be?

Sounds like a problem with the bender itsself. Is it possible that this problem was already there before the Juno-66 installation?

Polymode on Juno 66 is out of tune

Post by micah45456@hotmail.com » Fri Dec 01, 2017 7:00 pm

I just had the Juno 66 installed and the pitch if the notes is all messed up in Polymode. It's totally right in Duo and Mono mode. What could be happening?

One more thing

Also, if I play a single note in Polymode it seems to have 6 different pitches that it plays in a series that repeats itself.[/video]

Could be a problem with the connection between Juno-66 and the DCO divider ICs. I suggest to check the connections for shorts and open traces
