Wow, this had a really strange beauty to it. :) I find myself imagining it as the sound track for a documentary about adaptive radiation done entirely in the game "Spore".

OK more info-

starts with wild modular sound (can;t really remeber the patch, but remeber when i made it thinking this is best sound i've made in my life so far!!! hehe) + reaktor pad (gauger if thats how you spell it)

perc - woody sound is contact mic and banging on ancient wooden zither
electronic perc is reaktor (limelight)

big pad is HG Fortune STS 26 pro soft synth (i really like this guys synths. great pad/ambient synths. you can use wavs as osc)

high hat type perc is contact mic into modular. high pass. tapping with fingers.

big wet washing sound is malfunctionator noise box into ableton grain delay

there is also a little k5000w noodle in there (through modular i think)
** really excited about K5000w again. feels like I am finally using for what it's good at (awesome pads!) after owning it for 7 yrs or whatever. more kawai sounds to come!!

put together in sonar. some sounds (perc usually) might have been stretched in ableton, then taken into sonar. pretty minimal sonar setup really. probably arcDev echo tank delay and artsAcoustic reverb sends.
waves SSL bus comp running very gently on the master bus (still experimenting with doing this). very quickly mastered with izotope ozone, slightly tweaked preset.

thanks for comments guys. really appreciate it

**also really interested in collaborating with someone on some music!
anyone interested in bouncing ableton files back and forth?

So you're the other person using Gaugear

Had a chance to buy a K5000 cheap the other day/passed on it - Attempting a strict diet.

Thanks for the detailed info!

I would love to sometime...Right now I have no idea when I will be able to setup the studio again or even where that will be :waah:  :hmm:

I don't have Live either(atleast not yet, but I will someday),

With that in mind, wav files can still be sent, but I don't know when I will get to them.
But when it does happen, things will explode
