VC ADSR - New Run production problems

Post by dslocum » Sat Jul 16, 2016 11:59 am

UPDATE - 7/19/16
When I first saw the problem, I panicked.

It turns out that with a bit of rework, these boards can indeed be recovered cleanly ! Woo Hoo!

Who wants a VC ADSR ?

Due to a major unrecoverable production problem with one of the circuit boards on the run of VC ADSRs, we must unfortunately cancel any open orders and refund payments to those folks who have been waiting patiently.

The problem is that two of the +15V power traces somehow got merged with the ground layer, making the PCBs and all of the assemblies we have useless.

This is the first time we’ve had such a major issue and apologize for the inconvenience. Ouch, this hurts big time!!

We hope to correct this and announce a corrected run sometime in the future.
