Man the soundtrack is so good!!! I never fast forward the Opening credits.

Is it mostly Moog modular? Sounds like it!!

I'm not sure if they've said what they actually used but this guy gets pretty close to the sounds:

I would be surprised if a Juno 6/60 was not involved

Thanx!!

Says they used an Oberheim 2 Voice for the main theme.

Vanity Fair recently posted this video, I like the part where they talk about putting a piece of tape on one of the modules out of fear of losing the upside down monster theme:

Indeed! cool I have one of those Encore Electronics UEG sequencers and they are both amazing and touchy beasts! Up to 8 steps and each step has a tiny knob for voltage output level and a tiny knob for step timing. Near impossible to recreate a specific sequence but one of the easiest sequencers to create atonal and arrhythmic sequences.

Thanks for IDing this, I think I want one... it’ll be the Eurorack version though. Don’t want to take the thread OT though, so I’ll search it up first before discussing more.

Really dig where they are coming from and find their work inspiring and the show fun.

cheers!

Check out this thread, especially the post by Dave Peck who came up with the feature set design for the UEG:
