swoop spokes

Post by mono-poly » Thu Nov 10, 2016 4:50 pm

I made a few paper circuit pcb's a while ago.
One of them is the Swoop Spokes.
I got no clue what it does and some symbols still confuse me.
Anyone can tell a bit about this circuit?

I would expect noise, like the DDDM2... but I never build it.
Which symbols are confusing you?
If you have a PCB left, I'm interested. :guinness:

I wonder what these 3 symbols need to connect to. The cross, the double cross and the star.

In Madame Brasser and Master Brando paper cirquits the crosses where used to connect the circuits. There are crosses with 1, 2, 3 and 4 lines.
These stars are normally touch Points (also in Brasser and Brando)

I just got your PC board. Thanks! The crosses are inputs and the star is an output. There are five of each identical circuit. I'll have to derive the schematic diagram to help ponder it.

Not to add that is thread specific, I just wanted to say thank you for making those awesome investigatory blog posts!

They're fun to do. Thank you.

Now, I've made Swoop Spokes into a stand-alone module for controlling whatever.

Was this an etched board? Or did you have them made elsewhere? (And are there any left  )

mono-poly (Dennis Verschoor) made the PC board. I think he has made more of them, as well as boards for other paper circuits.

Here's my post about building the board.

Yeah, I was reading that earlier today. The finished piece with the acrylic case looks beaut. I've been tempted to get some boards made of the Conrad Papers circuits and put together a small modular system from some of them.
