New delay from Empress. Adds some new features as seen on their reverb pedal like the control port. Looking good!

Wow, great follow up to the reverb! I wonder how much it's going to cost?

Looks like a great implementation of a dual delay.

With this and their reverb, you could cover a lot of sonic territory.

Nice one, it looks great. I just discovered the existence of their reverb the other day, and now i'm also looking forward to this delay.

Are they employing Sharc processors?

Empress just dropped a bunch of videos. Looks like it's almost ready for release. So many options in one box. Especially stoked about the dual mono capability for processing 2 instruments with 2 different algos.

This looks awesome and I would consider replacing my timeline with it but I love the looper on the TL and I don't think any of the other multi delay pedals out there have a built in looper as well integrated as it has.

Considering ditching all my other delays (DIG, Avalanche Run, Memory Toy, Cathedral?) and just getting one of these.

Anybody have one as their main/only delay? Anything serious missing that would make my plan a bad idea?

Really enjoying the Echosystem. It can do so much from mild to wild. I really like having the option of stereo out to add some movement to my mono synths. Although, I do still tend to use my Moogerfooger delay often. Just can't beat the sound!

I would love to hear it with synth sounds... does anyone have a demo somewhere?

A bit surprised I haven't seem more love for this on here. I think it looks pretty damn hot. I'm a bit torn between saving up for a bigger purchase or just jumping on one of these to match my empress reverb and for immediate fun. Anyone using (and enjoying) it with their synths? Any synth focused sound or vid demos?

Sooooo.... I couldn't resist and one of these showed up on my doorstep last week. I think it sounds pretty amazing :hyper: I'll make a recording with it sometime soon and will make sure to share it here.

Just synth sounds but they're sort of guitar-like

Here you go: https://soundcloud.com/why-farer/sets/g ... ck-empress

Here's the link in case I didn't embed souncloud correctly: https://soundcloud.com/why-farer/sets/g ... ck-empress

In the souncloud playlist I have demos of every mode currently loaded in my echosystem recorded in non-dual mode. I also have two recordings (tracks #2 and #3 are both of the same) of the left/right dual mode in action using two different tape delay modes for each side of the stereo track. Each recording is of the same patch (notes below) but I let the modular generate new tunes for each demo.

Patch notes:
meng qi karp -> mutable rings -> befaco chopping kinky -> empress echosystem. Temps utile is master clock/sync, ornament + crime is quantizing in an aeolian scale. Eurorack goes to Yamaha which I used only as an aux send here. Recorded into my old tascam us-122 into audacity in windows 10. I added a fade in/out to each track but otherwise there is zero post-processing. There's a few places where it clips but mostly it's pretty clean. I didn't have anything in mind for each track except to share some of the sounds this thing is capable of creating.

Thanks for requesting sounds and nudging me to do this. It was a great reason to devote time to the echosystem and I greatly enjoyed spending a little time with each mode. Empress have made a great pedal :yay:

Hope you enjoy the sounds of lush echosystem.

Of course I barely scratched the surface here... there's all the dual modes but there are way too options there to do anything comprehensive. Dual serial mode is super nuts feeding one delay into another. I personally really really have a thing for the left/right mode. Such wide stereo feels I can barely deal :dizzy:

Just got one of these and I’m loving it so far! The dual delay routing configurations are especially awesome, and I can clock it with the modular or a beatstep pro! Couldn’t decide between a timeline and a time factor and went with this instead and I’m really happy. It’s really cool on a drum machine too.

I find the glittery coating a bit ugly / cheap looking but that’s about it for the downsides!
