nice!
got a plague meself. should use it more Mr. Green thanks for reminding me what a great module it is ... this was done with a dual or quad version? some reverb too?
Infinity Curve
I assume you mean Plague Bearer module? None of that in this

This was actually just a simple patch with a Piston Honda going through some pedals/effects hooked up to a Black Locust(SPX990, Black Fountain, Count to 5) and from there it is running through a Micro Research Black Death, into a Tyme Sefari followed by a Malgorithm. Straight into my interface, and a sprinkle of Valhalla Room on the master - no post aside from that. Modulation on the Tyme Sefari and Malgorithm by ERD Sir and Y/gamma, with the ERD Y also controlling Piston Honda's pitch.

I'm adjusting the settings on the Black Death periodically throughout the track
felixer
really? i could have sworn it was a couple of those plague bearer modules ...
Infinity Curve
Nope. Black Death, baby! The Tyme Sefari and Malgorithm obviously help as well, heavy sample rate and bit depth reduction being modulated by the ERD's
felixer
well, it has that same sort of throaty/hoarse sound that you can get from the plague bearer ... interesting to hear the black death. that's a radical thing ... what version do you have? i understand that the software was changed a few times ... judging from the demo's it's a bit too close to some stuff i already have, so i never got one ...
Infinity Curve
I have the most recent revision Martin released, with the black enclosure. It has the original Black Death code and an alternate 'wormcode' as well, selectable with a switch on the front. It also has a built in distortion circuit you can switch on and off - it was on for the recording above. The distortion works better with some signals than others, and strips pretty much any low end, but I dig it.

But ya, love the Black Death. It always surprises, and never fails to completely mangle whatever I feed it to varying degrees. It has a permanent place in my setup for sure.

Liking the length of the track. Necessary.
Zek
That's cool! What is the Black Death? Is that a module? How did you make that noise?
Infinity Curve
Nope, not a module. It's a standalone unit. Think of it as an FSU sampler, but it doesn't work like other samplers. At all

Description of what is going on in the track is in the posts further up, pretty simple patch with some effects
Zek
Ok thanks.
