CGS101 Serge DCSM as quad vca / panner / fader (UEPAP)?

Post by cygmu » Wed Feb 22, 2017 3:32 pm

I think it's true that the various Serge output modules (Dual Channel Stereo Mixer, Universal Equal Power Audio Processor, Universal Audio Processor) all used the same PCBs behind the scenes, and that Ken Stone's CGS101 is derived from those.

Ken gives wiring instructions to use the CGS101 as a DCSM but I am wondering if it is possible to rig it up as the other variants.

The wiring page for the UEPAP
http://www.cgs.synth.net/synth/serge/kit/uepap.html
shows the various pads needed (cross reference with the almost-matching panel art at http://www.serge.synth.net/documents/da ... /VCAs2.jpg )
and from a look at the CGS101 board it appears that all the needed pads are there: for instance the pad marked "C Pan" is CP on the board, and "T VCA" is TV on the board, etc.

My educated guess is that everything is in place on the CGS101 to wire up a UEPAP.

Can anyone confirm or deny this?
