Note to self, use ribbon cables next time between the panels and PCB. d'oh! This sounds great. Sending audio rate CV into the drum modules makes these things kick ass. SlayerBadger!

It sounds completely kick ass in the Amphonic/Pittsburgh Modular lab.
I really want one but I don't think I'm up for the build!
3vcos

Are the four panels fastened to each other somehow? How does the PCB fasten to the four panels?

I browsed through the EM thread, and it doesn't seem like anyone has offered a batch of panels or parts kits for this, true?

Pretty cool. Is there any ring-mod in this?
Scott Stites
It's a quad version of this:

I'd like to hear samplez too!
amphonic
The 4 panels are not attached to each other and the board is attached only by the 200 wires soldered to it. eek!

Not the best solution but it will work for now.

All the parts for the project were ordered from Mouser so parts are easy to find. I did not do a single order for the project so I cant easily share a parts list. d'oh!

No ring-mod but I have the dot com ring-mod 3 modules away and it sounds cool with the drums.

you could make yourself some brackets from thin metal sheets (i.e. steel sheets from the hardware store) and fix it to the panel using some of the potentiometers.... it is very cheap.
i cut the sheets with tinsnips, drill the holes for the potentiometers and standoffs, and then bend them using a bench vise. i finish the fold with a hammer finally.

Great tip! thumbs up Next time I pull out the modules I will add the brackets.
