Author a/b switch which handle line level?

hello again,

as the topic allready says: i need a a/b pedal or small box which can handle line level and doesnt change the sound at all or at least not to much.
it should be usable in both directions: 1 in 2 outs and 2 ins 1 out...
second function is more important. (2 ins 1 out.)

i want to use several fx with different sources in a live situation.
prefering a small box but does someone has experience with the big boss switcher (boss es-8) and line level?
seems to be very good featured but to much for now.

thanks in advance!

I use a small Fender ABY for switching instruments.

It should be OK with line as it's totally passive as long as you're using 1/4 inch jacks.

I also use a Boss Line Selector in my bass rig so that I can have a wet/dry signal path going into a single amp.

will check the fender aby out.

i got a boss ls-2 but something seems to be broken in it.

it distorts way to much.

I have good luck with the inexpensive ART products.

Any passive box is going to use mechanical switching. It can't tell ins from outs, or instrument from line level.

a passive switcher would suit your needs

to use as ins and outs interchangeably, absolutely - just be wary of impedance differences as they can change your tone quite easily. Active circuitry will be more reliable for that side of things.
