Wow!! Very impressive for the price and simplicity!! You guys need to keep em coming, your stuff has really been a breath of fresh air. Your interpretation of the classic modules has even been very new and exciting.

Looks great! Can you tell us what the expander port will be used for?

direct access to all four waveforms of each VCO simultaneously, CV-control for the PWMs, Lin-Control for each VCO

Maybe i'll add also a trigger-in for switching the waveforms on the main Modul

this looks so clean. we're not worthy

will watch your store for projects. almost certainly will pick up some VCA's, if not another one of these when they're re-released. :]

Wow!

Any chance of these being released as built modules?
I have never soldered in my life!
Yes, I need to learn, but there are multiple reasons I am staying away from DIY!

I have a few questions:

1) I got an essential kit with SMD pre-soldered + the two included tempcos and knobs included. So this means I only need trimmers, LEDS, pots, jacks, power and optionally expander, right?

2) I'd like to source from Tayda and/or thonk, looking at the knobs, it seems the 7 small pots should be D-shaft, what about the large one? Will thonks D-shaft pots work: https://www.thonk.co.uk/shop/alpha-9mm-pots-dshaft/? Linear or audio?

3) Looking at the PCB it looks llike thonkiconm jacks, correct?

4) I think the font on the panel is a bit small, so I would like to try my hands on a one-off panel re-design. Is there a service somewhere that will make me a single panel without breaking the bank?

5) The build manual stops and measures between steps. Since all SMD are already done, wouldn't it be best just to go ahead and solder up the thru-hole, measure it and connect to power?

All of them are D-Shaft and linear and yes the ones from Thonk will work.

Yes

Frontpanel Express is ok, they offer also a digital print.
The price is a little bit high, but for a single pices still ok

Yes, but for the first test i would only snap the pots in.
If everything is fine, you can solder them

What's the correct orientation of the leds? Long or short leg towards edge of board?

EDIT:
Looking at this + diagram it seems it's short leg towards edge of board, right?
