Cool idea and execution, nicely done. Makes me kind of want one of these now. br> br> |

br>So I just wrote this piece this afternoon. It was composed around a repeating phrase from one of my former pieces chopped up in the new Make Noise Morphagene eurorack module. It is also a musical rendering of last night's dream. Hope you enjoy!

br>Sorry for turning into a serial poster, but I'm having a lot of crazy fun with this module. Here's a quick drone sort of thing I threw together on Friday evening. The only sound source is the Morphagene, with some filtering and reverb from the MMG and Erbe Verbe respectively. The original sample is the Star Spangled Banner. The patch is pretty flexible and will turn almost any musical or tonal sample into atmospheric spa music instantaneously.

br>Morphagene is providing the drone. MG CV Out > Rings 2 Op FM damping input; a few notes are sequenced into Rings. Drums are a combination of the Black Mambo and Glassed kits in Maschine.

br>I'm regretting not developing this one further. The MG sample and the 'melody' come from Spectrum through Rings in western chords mode.

br>This is a PDO arpeggio > MG TLA > Clouds pitched up. Two overlaid (but unsynced) passes of the same patch with the second one transposed down an octave.

Nice! You're having fun with your 'gene. br> br> |

br>JonathanBedrava |
br>I like it! I am continually stunned by the variety of sounds that can come out of the 'gene.

br>An attempt to do something other than granular ambient soundscapes (nice though they are). This one is a glitchy mash-up of two sample loops, one being played by Radio Music, the other by Morphagene:
