Hey all. I'm actually one of the guys behind Surreal Machines. If you like Diffuse you should really check out Modnetic. It's really what we are most proud of.

Happy to answer any questions here or in PM.

I've buyed the m4l version before but can't really use them because m4l is way too cpu heavy. Any chance of having them for a lower price or something since i have the lookalike m4l version.

I love the sound of them. I would love to use them more since they are some of my favorite effects. Sadly it takes as much cpu as diva when on a project. Which is a bit much compared to some alternatives.
Hopefully this is a m4l problem and it's different in vst.

GREAT, thanks !

allready purchased the M4L bundle earlier wink

M4L and VST has the same CPU load ? ( in ableton) my guess would be a Yes wink

Modnetic was coded from scratch in C++ just to reduce teh CPU. There really isn't any chance of getting that performance into our old max version in the moment. But you should really demo Modnetic. It's a completely new thing with teh emulated modulation section and new character modes.

Modnetic with the same settings as Magnetic gets better CPU even though we're running higher quality all the time. Adding the BBD (analog) chorus on will bump it back up a bit but the other modulation types are pretty light.
