saw this on facebook earlier...surprised nobody mentioned it on here yet hmmm.....

It does look like an awesome delay though. Now to see if it comes with the Eventide price help

Ho Hum.

Mono? :(
mdoudoroff
Yeah, this is a real head-scratcher, particularly with the popular 4MS DLD on the market and the preponderance of interest in Eventide’s DSP algorithms.

I did see they leaked a pic of their second upcoming module too!

mdoudoroff
lol

Love their delays, but really wish Eventide would just make a euro-Pitchfactor or tweakable euro-verb... My H3000 would also love a euro-brother/sister...
There sure seem bigger holes to fill in euro than adding another delay. I still hope it's a big enough success for them to be able to make the really unique stuff! I know they can do it!

here's the info sheet i got at AES 2017:

Yeah this doesn’t look very exciting at all.
Even the Blackhole algo ported to euro with full CV control would be great

At least it’s not mono lol
FatRocky
Finally eventide jumps in the wagon!

200mA +12/100mA -12 is nuts for a mono delay. If they wanna have crazy power requirements for something that does does what a Space/Timefactor does people will make allowances for that. Watch this shit be $400-500, too.

But missed the boat hihi
nrg242
yeah, my impression during their run-through at AES was very lukewarm. i think the price may have been $300-350. but i felt like the chronoblob was a better value with less HP or the DLD at a slightly higher price point.
electrik noize
10sec of delay even at a sampling rate of 192K so guessing something like 20sec at 96k, wow grin

I have moog 500 series bbd delay and the delay from Audio Damage, but I'm definitely making room for the Eventide.
DSC
Somebody better buy it!!! Otherwise they won't even bother looking at something like a CV controlled Space or Timefactor! Yeah that's me looking directly at you Eventide very frustrating
bemushroomed
"minimal digital circuitry" and in the next sentence they speak about Hz and bits. ok.

Ouch I hadn’t noticed that. Looks like my Echophon stays cool

Roland's Demora delay needs a whopping 450mA... Looks like these big companies don't grasp all the basic aspects of eurorack just yet!

Strymon's deposed Generalissimo seemed a hell of a lot more interesting.

I hope the Eventide at least has great-sounding Karplus-

I figure the image of that completely CV-able modified Eventide pedal stuck in my head and made this - their actual module- so much less impressive.. Would have been really decent 7 years ago!
mattsb
I don't know squat about EE, but their H9 pedal (which we would all buy if they converted it to Euro, right?) consumes 500ma @ 9V.

(Yes, useless fact...)

This is the 500 series, not the Eurorack version !!!
500 series outboard FX are known to be pretty expensive
Eurorack should be cheaper.

Apologies for my mistake, I tried to find a thread for the euro module and found this in the euro forum, so just presumed!

Oh I seeeee... sorry! Totally confused myself and probably everyone else too!

Super fail... d'oh!

Here it says 356eu:

It is not cheap and not disrespecting alright devices, 4ms, and other great euro companies but this is an eventide. Only time will tell if the ask is based on sound quality or name alone..

btw it seems the filter is analogue as well..
