TM3030 square wave problem

Post by mckenzie » Mon Jul 17, 2017 10:21 am

Hi, the square wave on my build sounds very wrong. Attached is a file that demonstrates it. I don't have a TB303 to compare but the closest I have is the ABL plugin so this will have to do, just for a rough comparison.

All the pot positions are matched up closely on both plugin & TM3030.
The first audio clip is the plugin, second is the TM30303.

The third is the plugin again & the fourth is the TM3030 but this time sweeping the resonance on both.

It sounds like the pulse width of the TM3030 has moved or something?

The saw wave sounds ok.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Ok I worked it out. I had a 2.2k instead of a 22k @ R11 !

A happy punter, this thing sounds amazing :)
