Just a post to announce my excitement at getting a native version of Reaper running in Linux.

That is all.
Vortico
If anyone's interested, the unsupported Linux builds can be found here.

It's a bummer that there aren't too many VSTs for Linux yet, since I basically just use Reaper as a VST machine, but hopefully this will pique interest in it.
Oblivion
Nice. I'll have to check it out in a VM sometime.
Vortico
Well, if you're on Windows or Mac, you can just use the native version...
Oblivion
Well, yeah, I do. The VM install would be just to test it out (and find the limitations) before thinking of recommitting to linux for audio (which I used to use quite a bit, then I got my MBP).

I picked up a Bitwig v1 key for cheap. Goodbye reaper.

Renoise is still the best at handling wine/airwave vsts for me.
Reaper wasn't too great. Bitwig is a little better.

So far the bitwig/renoise combo seems pretty awesome!!

Love reaper though. Sad to say goodbye...kinda.
