Very useful for breadboard prototyping, if you don't want to use another power supply. Might be a good idea to add some resettable polyfuses, too, depending on the protection of the power supply of the rack.

might be worth replacig bare leads wih insulated/heatshrunk cables, just for safety and peace of mind.

Looks like it would pair well with a tester cable I made for debugging modules before I mount them in the rack.

This is 1 mm silver coated solid copper wire, very useful for such tasks. I don't think it is needed, can barely bend it with my fingers, so it is as safe as the usual module with non-insulated PCBs.

The tester cable looks nice, will build one, too cool
