Does the ARP in the Q175 have a latch mode?

The arpeggiator in the Q175 seems very basic, but I understand there's only so much that can be wedged in to a 1sp module.

Does it latch?

Any other features not obvious ("as played" modes, etc ...)?

What's the max number of notes it will handle?

Thanks!

From the documentation ;

Sending a CC15 causes the Arpeggiator to Hold notes pressed. Press the
note again to turn it off.

Crap .. I suppose I should have checked the datasheets.

Thanks for chasing that down.

Um .... wait ... I don't ~think~ I have a means of sending midi cc's ..... I don't even know how to do that.

I've never tried it myself. If you have a programmable controller you could assign the CC to a button or use a MIDI interface to your PC to send the CC.

I keep saying "I should test that out" but the more I keep saying it... the less it happens.

I really should test that out!

Anyone here have experience activating this feature?

HA! Irony at it's finest .... I have an Arturia Keylab 25 (midi controller) that I've been trying to sell on the BST forum but I can't seem to hardly give the danged thing away.

This may be the universe attempting to tell me to keep it for just such occasions.

I'll leaf the manual to make sure.

It has a number of assignable controllers/faders .... hopefully it will do, it's actually a nice compact little unit to be honest.

...... just thinking out loud .... nothing to see here ...... move along ... meh

Thanks again ..... smile

You can assign the pads on your Beatstep to send CC messages too.

OH GEEZ! You are so right! I'd far rather use that than that Keylab.

Thanks TONS for that reminder..... It's peanut butter jelly time! It's peanut butter jelly time! It's peanut butter jelly time!
