A130 is cool because you get CV in with attenuation as well as two audio ins with atten, so it's almost like a mixer too. A132 is great when you just need VCAs (can't have enough VCAs, although CV atten is really nice). I'd vote A132, just so you get more VCAs.

The Pro Solo apparently has better LFO and portamento as well as a larger octave range, pretty much better all around. I just recently got the Pro 2000 which is totally kick ass!

Going with the Pro Solo would also save you panel space in your case.

Then again, I've got a 190 for sale if you want one! :hihi:

I've sold almost all my D modules bcs their feature cramped UI doesn't work for me. Despite that I'd liked both VCAs very much.

Especially I thought the A130 very cool exactly for the reasons felix mentioned. I used it for audio and it's sound itself is not hi-end in a positive sense. Always thought it sounds slightly compressed and a bit heavy. Sorry, can't do it better. It also adds a little distortion unless you attentuate the audio input a great deal.

AFAIK Doepfer changes sometimes his designs so the above might apply fully only to old versions of the A130.

The best of both, IMO, is the A-132-3.

It's a dual VCA, with CV atten and signal level offset *and* each is switchable between Linear and Exponential.
