Actually, maybe it's something involving a four stage envelope generator: Four sliders, and the second one seems to have a D next to it...
hawkfuzz
Well the ED is supposed to have envelopes on it so I wouldn't rule it out.

So, this is happening this weekend right? Do we know if anyone is going to be there to report back?
hyena
Andore adsr!
ether
Pics anywhere?

Found here https://www.facebook.com/MODULATION.jp/photos/a.357702214657679.107374 1829.262761294151772/371023273325573/?type=3&theater

Can't find anything else on the other ones.

Damn. What be?

Andore
4 stage envelope with VCA and LPG.

This does confuse me a little. Isn't the main use of an LPG to hit it with a gate and it has it's own slope and natural curve? Why would you need anADSR & LPG? So, I am thinking that maybe there will be more than one use simultaneously. What do you all think?
ether
Fingers crossed for vactrols Guinness ftw!
hawkfuzz
Looks like there's a mode switch. Maybe variations of ADSR and perhaps a LPG mode...who knows?

Where's the other ones?!
wireangel
Damn...gonna need 2.
Sinamsis
Oh, I missed that... I was just thinking I'd love to see the Harvestman take on an LPG, and that's a big gap in the Harvestman system.

An ADSR envelope and LPG does seem a little bizarre on principal, but that's one of the several features of Streams and it's nice to have the choice of either in a single module. To me, it looks like this module might be both at the same time. There are ADSR controls for the envelope and shape and decay controls which I presume to be for the LPG. Mode and cycle I presume applies to the ADSR. Maybe mode is something like slow, medium, fast speed. There's a 1v/oct which I guess will be used to control the cycling ADSR.

Looking at this, it seems that the Double Andore is to Maths what this will be to Function. Except cooler haha.

I just filled almost 168 hp with Harvestman modules already. If he keeps these coming, I'm going to have to build a dedicated case sooner rather than later.

As an aside, has anyone heard anything about the BL II???? This one is the one I'm most anxiously anticipating.

Dynamics are the name of the game here. The LPG is a VCA-based circuit (fwiw it's analog), but since you've got the shape control and a 4-stage envelope you may dial in an imitation of whatever *other circuit* behavior you like. The mode button does the expected VCA/LPF/both switching. There is a 2-input unity gain mixer on the VCA. It has character.

Andore is a dual envelope (dedicated trigger ins and env outs, shared controls. Envelope 2 is accessed by holding a button down and modifying the desired controls.) The shape control is a crossfade between linear and RC responses (log attack, expo decay). The velocity control has a dedicated CV input. It controls the overall height of the envelope voltage. Since it's shared between two envelopes, the velocity value is sampled at the start of each envelope trigger (mysteron style). There is also a single general purpose CV input, assignable to any of the env stages or the shape control. The envelope mode button switches from ADSR to ADSD (with the fourth slider acting as the sustain time control) to AHD to AD (self cycling). CV inputs are shared between the envelopes but the attenuverters and destinations may differ. Nobody's forcing you to use the second envelope.

Trimmers are provided to tweak the linearity of the VCA in combo mode and to add a small amount of resonance to the filter. There is an analog VCA CV input and a dedicated attenuverter for sending Envelope 1 to the VCA.

Andore is designed to quickly and conveniently provide voice control to any sound source, and offer further modulation opportunities. Relax, it's supposed to be this simple. Offered as an alternative to the large/cranky/expensive Double Andore.

this sounds great. well spec'd flexible device. can't wait to try it out. smile
Sinamsis
Indeed, that sounds fantastic. I recently bought a Double Andore but this would be a welcome addition.

Anyone got any ideas about how to make modules shrink a bit or my Harvestman case grow a bit? waah
mt3

Here's a driveby by SynthAnatomy. Starts at 5m55s.
hawkfuzz
...and at at 5m58s.

I guess those other modules were proof of concept since he didn't bring them.

...or they're in a portable beauty case handcuffed to Guv...

Anyone able to figure out the HP on this?

15 HP according to ModularGrid and also what I see on the video shot at Namm2017.

EDIT: Sorry got it wrong. No sources for that. I thought this was the bionic mkII thread..
hawkfuzz
Where on MG? Didnt see it.

Oops wrong thread oops

It sort of is the BLmk][ thread, as well as any other surprises...
