Is no-one talking about this?

140 euros for a DIY kit, 250 built
Comes with an awesome mini cardboard case
Single VCO, 2 subs, 3 waves
2 EGs
2 LFO outs
Drive circuit
3 Pole filter
42hp

Dreadbox is on fire Dead Banana

Edit: Been informed that there is a thread already which didn't come up on search for me. Ignore this everyone!

the filter seems intriguing, a 3Pole LP which can be set to 2 or 1 poles too?
I guess the used 1.5 OTAs for the filter and the last half OTA for the VCA to save space. I'd also like to know more about the two subs, do they have different ratios, and if so.. which? (btw. one of the coolest thing about the Nanosynth is their 1/3 sub oscillator)

I like their decision to use more HP to make it less fiddly.

looking at the manual with PCB pics:
Yes, indeed 2 LM13700 ota
A CD4024 Binary counter for the SUB with it's /2 and /4 pins traced out - so -1 and -2 octaves as in the 101/202/Atlantis just you can use both

Its only the delivery container re-purposed as a temporary rack, and a pretty cool idea at that. You don't have to use it, if you have space in your rack ......

I saw it and liked it. The DIY version is tempting.

On second read it certainly appears I'm throwing shade. Seems like a great product at a good price point and the DIY got me drooling. I am just putting off needing to get another case really. I look at something like the field kit tho where they included a nice external standalone enclosure as an option which fed to my delinquent case procrastination...

I'm after a new filter, osc and lfo... I was also tied between the Erebus and modular a few months ago. This looks like it will scratch the dreadbox itch nicely and fill in some missing bus from my set up.

Simple voice with killer sound, cheap. Can't fault this deal really.
