Author algorithmic composition & realtime notation in max/msp

i'm doing an article series over at the New Music Box site on computer algorithms and composition that some of you may be interested in. i've been delving into topics including networked notation in max/msp using the bach library, generative harmony & counterpoint, realtime orchestration, and musical applications of combinatorics.

here are the first 2 articles:

002:
https://nmbx.newmusicusa.org/from-the-machine-realtime-networked-notat ion/

anyone here using algorithms/computers to create non-electronic music? or exploring the world of the bach externals for realtime notation? i’m personally really excited about the potential of using max for live notational/compositional purposes.

How do musicians feedback? Do elements of their expressive performance alter the score over time? How does realtime notation differ from live coding? This is a form of live coding and networked scoring?

Somewhat in this area...do you know about this conference? (Now past, but some useful notation references): https://thormagnusson.github.io/ircam/
