Is this with a panel?

Nope. Only PCBs.

Any of these left?

Just discovered this... too late I'm afraid.
The link to the web site reads that the designs are retired now, but the files are all available if anyone needs them - the link is on the site.

I'd love to build a Bozac. My Urei 1620 is my favorite mixer ever.
I'd love to take a stab at building something from that era myself.

Late to the party I guess...

Yes, the zip file contains all the gerbers, BOM and manual, so getting a set of pcb's shouldn't be that hard...

It cost me about $300 plus local VAT and taxes (about $400 altogether) to order 10 full PCB sets for the project from Dangerous Prototypes / DirtyPCBs (which is what the original author of the project used as well).

I guess you can get 5 sets as well but I'm not sure how much cheaper it will be from that source.

In any case, if you're prepared to try to get rid of a few extra sets or organize a group buy, the files are there and ordering should be easy.

Curious about the build and also an enclosure/faceplate

Does anyone have extra PCB sets that lives/will ship to CONUS?

Some interior shots of a unit I put together recently

Looks beautiful!

Still looking for a PCB set if anyone has one they are willing to part with.

I dropped a fully built unit at a store locally and they took some lovely photos of it! Thought I would post them up here too.

I had a couple misadventures along the way but finally got my mixer working last week. It's so easy to make records BANG with this thing. I'm really digging it...

Does anyone have any idea how/where to get a front panel for this project?

Can anyone share a little light how you did the psu for this unit? It's basicly only thing that's holding my build

There are some notes in the build manual and in this thread but if you search for LM317HV you can find schematics online for building a 40+VDC power supply. Personally I'm not that interested in designing power supplies so in the name of overkill I stuck one of these in a pedal enclosure...

The original panel design is in the zip file but if you're looking for something on the cheap you could pick up a blank bottom plate for the hammond case and drill it out.

I did my own pcb using the LM317HV fed by a transformer.

A quick question.

A BOM of INPUT Card states 2.2nf STYRENE 160V capacitor.
Does it have to be exact 160V ? I suppose not.
The typical styrenes from Xicon are rated at 50V.
Or maybe to go Polypropylene here ?
What capacitor you used at C201L, C201R positions ?

Thanks...
