when I need anything related to MIDI my first choose is kenton, just because they make bullet-proof stuff...they got really solid performance and this is what I´m after in any MIDI product

I never got an issue with a kenton device, can´t say the same for other manufacturers
Muzone
Kenton are pretty much the "go to" for MIDI boxes but run off a wall wart, if you want standalone I've found the MIDI Solutions quadra thru to he faultless

I can find pre-USB MOTU Expresses cheaper and easier than actual MIDI Patch bays so i just use those. Recently I finally came up on an Ensoniq KMX 8 for a really decent price so i finally have a "proper" patch bay and it matches my other Ensoniq shit too hihi

Yamaha MJC8 is one of the nicest ones but it;s kind of big (deep) for a midi patch bay.

Another vote for anything from Kenton. I already have two myself.

Both Kenton and Midi Solutions make great kit. I have Midi Solutions Merge and Thru boxes, also a really cool box which boosts the power of a midi flow which doesn't have enough juice in it to power a downstream Merge or Thru box. Quite a few modern keyboards' midi output is on the feeble side.

+1 for the Kenton boxes.

If DIY is an option, https://midisizer.com/midithru/ is a nice little project.

I grabbed a Casio tb-1 off eBay for about £20, works great!

using a midi solutions quadra thru here, 10/10 would recommend

I have a Kenton. It worked without any problems, before I switched to ES products.

I have one of these. Got it on eBay for $100 about a year or 2 ago. Works like a champ.
