2hp XAOC Poti?

Author 2hp XAOC Poti?
insoul8
Is anybody on here currently making any diy 2hp versions of the XAOC Poti modules? If so, I'd love to snag one as I just got a Batumi. The 3hp version would really throw off my whole row and force me to take out a mult leaving a blank 1hp. :(

diy it's super easy

I’m sure it is but I’ve never done anything in that realm before and don’t own a single thing I’d need to accomplish it. I’m not ready to take on another hobby.

Seller here has them available (this post reminded me that I also need to buy one):

Awesome, thanks. I'll shoot them a pm.

I just ordered this panel: https://pushermanproductions.com/product/poti-batumi-expander-panel-2h p/

I have the 3hp version and it looks like this just replaces the existing 3hp panel by re-orienting the bottom two switches vertically. At least that's what I hope it does!

There’s this in 1hp smile

Sadly the URL referenced leads to a password protected site - can you share a photo of what the panel looks like?

The site isn't ready, hence needing to get in touch via Facebook for the password. I've just ordered a panel myself.

I'm looking to change my 3hp poti in a 2hp expander. is pusherman still doing the panel?

I don't have facebook and can't access to the web site.

I’m one of the worst one out there in this DIYing stuff, but I managed to make one of these by looking at this website and drilling some holes in a 2hp blank:

Not in front of my gear otherwise I'd upload...If no one has done it by later today, I'll do it.

Just to let you know I got the 2hp panel from pusherman and it’s perfect. You can swap the original panel and use the original components.

Just put some electric tape on pliers and it’s really easy to do it without any scratch.

Justed placed an order for the 2HP Pusherman Poti Panel. That's a lot of Ps.

I don't even care that it's a black panel, I just want that 1 HP back so I don't have to monkey around with odd-sized modules anymore.

The other side of the panel is regular alumininium. If you don’t mind not having the print you can mount it in silver.

Why not print both sides so I can choose?

I don't know. It's a good idea, you should drop a mail at pusherman.

I've reached out to them with the request. Also added it to ModularGrid.

While they are at it, I think they could also revise the labels at the bottom that indicate the modes. The XAOC binary boxes make sense because their 3-HP module has switches that are toggled to left and right (which is oddly why I think they so vehemently insist that the module is kept at 3 HPs–– because the toggle takes up 3 HPs when oriented sideways). With toggles that move up and down, they could simply put 4 arrow combinations: ↑↓, ↓↑, ↑↑, ↓↓

I think XAOC could do the same but they're patently against the idea of a 2-HP Poti despite numerous threads that request it.

the labels are accurate though

They are accurate but they don't make as much sense as they do with the Xaoc's sideway toggles. All I am saying is arrows would make it much more clear without having to think whether the whites are 0s or 1s.

I was wondering...perhaps some Ladik switch could replace Poti?
