This seq is a monster, been using a digital version of it on VCV rack, and love it, definitely ordering one!

"Expecting the panels next week, so after a test-build
the kits should be ready to ship,"

Hi

Quick update.

Panels are ready !!

But due to the Coronavirus in China, some parts are not yet ready.
Hopefully it clears up quickly and people are not affected by it.

Keep healthy !

Hi.

Sure, but the 100M version will most likely not be available as a kit, only assembled module.

Hi

Sorry for the long delay, still waiting for the Chinese factory who
supply the switches to get back into full production.

Hopefully a couple of weeks, fingers crossed.

Here is a picture of the finished module with anodised aluminum
panel, and RAL 9002 screen print.
DSCF3622_CROP_Brite_SM.jpg
New software additions now included scale quantisation of notes,
firwmare upgradeable with MIDI sysex, and forthcoming will be
clock multiplication for those dumb Korg boxes with only 2ppq !

Panel PCB now has micro switches to select TRS MIDI spec [ type1 Korg, or type 2 ALM]
Kit will be supplied with 2 x TRS MIDI cables, and 1 x Special stereo to mono TRS cable for CH2 CV & Gate socket.

Looks amazing! Do you have any idea of approximately how much $ the kit will be at this point?

I'm pretty sure £250 ish was the expected amount - no news from Ryk - I expect it to be in the same ball park - not sure if this includes VAT, but as in the EU (including UK) we usually include the tax in the price - I would assume so

obviously there will be currency conversion and shipping to take into account and potentially import charges

If you are in the US ($) it may be that the £250 includes VAT - which would be 20% so expect some where between £200 and £250 + any forex expenses + shipping and import duty (as applicable)

xe gives 1GBP = $1.23

assuming that the extra expenses work out at $50

I'd guess it'll cost between $300 and $350 delivered, maybe a little more - but don't quote me on that it's just based on what I have seen and can easily calculate

Looks great Ryk!

I'm in for one or two (depending on final price).

What size is the panel?

Hi

Thanks for the comments !

Panel size is 30HP.

Price is going to be £265 for the kit, which includes everything to build
[ cables, all components, panel, 2 x PCBs, 22 x switches, 6 x jacks, 11 x pots, 12 knobs etc etc ]

I'm in the UK, so for at least the next 10months there is no EU tax. [ stupid brexit :bang: ]

Hello Ryk, so excited about this.
I'm interested in both the Euro kit version and the built 100m version (depending on the price). :sb: :sb:

Hi Ryk,

Great price :-)
For sure interested in two kits.

I'm now looking for a case, and the 4MS POD60 looks like a candidate. Do you know the depth and power consumption?

Thanks.

Hello

Thanks for the comments.

Here are the power consumption specs:
+12V - 75mA average, 110mA peak [ in some menu programming modes ]
-12V - 10mA
+5v - n/a

The module depth is currently approx 38mm [ double stack PCBS].
But, by using a right-angled Euro power header, and mounting some
components on the under-side of the main pcb, you might be able to get
the depth down to about 33mm.

Very nice!

Question for you - with your plans to release this also in Roland 100m format . . would that be easily trimmed down to fit/work in Moog 5U format (+/- 15v)?

I interested in purchasing two of these sequencers in the larger format as well as one in euro. :)

Trying to build up my 5U/COTK/MOTM and MODCAN B, send me a message if you are selling gear and thanks!

Hello

Yes that is in the pipeline, once the Euro version is finished.
