Hi Os,

Quick question about the voltage range for ‘sample selection’ in the Sample Playback algo on the Disting.

I’m pretty sure it ranges from 0 to +8v and that’s divied up by the number of samples in the playlist. Trouble is I’m trying to sequence the sample selection for one-shot triggered drums and find it hard to access the later samples in the playlist due to the fact the all the sequencers in my setup typically have a range of 0 to +5v (Voltage Block, Rene). So if I have 16 samples I can only reach 11 from the voltage block when sequencing the selection.

Am I being a numpty or is this correct? smile

All the best
Tob

It's approximately ±5V on Z for the full range.

You could pad out the playlist with copies at the start of end so your 5V range covers the samples you're interested in.

OK, thanks Os. I’ll give that a go.

Have a good Xmas smile
