Ratchet sequences on Easel

I'm wondering, is it possible somehow to program ratches to the Easel's sequences? If so, what's the secret of it and can we see any youtube/audio examples!? Thanks!

Here is a type of ratching, very basic, which could be expanded upon.
I'm using the cv out of the mod Osc. (LFO) to bro the Pulser rate.
Different settings on the Pulser and/or mod Osc will give different
results. Note that the mod Osc waveshape gives different effects
Hope this helps.

Yes, simple and clear example, thank you! I guess in this example, there should be ways to control or even "quantize" the ratchet ( maybe by means of mod Osc settings ), to make it happens not so randomly but constantly in a specific part of the sequence, am I right?

And another question: what are other "common" destinations for the ratchet modulation, besides obviously the volume? Are there any recipes? I mean something like happening in this video.

Does it achievable with the Easel?

Hmm...maybe send cv from Seq to mod Osc?
Or... Use Seq to change the Pulser rate in a consistent manner

As to "common" destinations--try everything! It all about adventure and exploration in my humble opinion. Don't wait, just do :-)

p.s. End it will take time and patience to find the right settings. There are many solutions proportion to one's patience.

N.B. For some serious ratching you might want to explore the Potrabellabz 208 ToolBox card. Check out at 4'45"

Got it, thanks! The problem is that I don't have the Easel at the moment (however, I can use and test those ideas on my BugBrand/Hordijk/Ciat Lonbarde/etc blended system ), so basically I just learn everything about the Easel from reading and watching clips (your Buchla lessons are the most helpful I should mention!) and getting myself prepared for the moment I will put my hands on it.

Coming back to ratching - yes those examples showed me basic ways how this could be done, and the key here - one's needs to spend the time to find the right settings to get the exact rhythmic pattern he needs, it's not "quantized world" on its own, so everything is done by the right freq/env adjustments.
