I bought an es-8 a few months ago and for a few days i've been having the leds in output 1, 2, 3 and 4 slightly light up. There's a slight dc offset there. Very small but shouldn't be there.

What's the culprit? Is this easily fixable?

This seems to be the standard DC offset. OS replied to other threads for the ES-3 saying that you should use a DC blocking filter when trying to record audio. I was measuring input signal on my ES-8 at -60db when I didn't use the DC blocking filter and then after was getting -73db which is better. I would like to know as well exactly how much DC offset is normal and of course if it can be calibrated in rack like many manufactures provision through trimmers. I assume if the ES-8 had this offset calibration it might be in hardware?
