I have finally given in to the fact computers may be useful and fun
And got myself an es8

I’m looking for a fun sequencer that can be used as a creative tool
In much the way a Stillson hammer 2 or a Rene can in hardware

Are there any ?

Any that run as AU s?

I’m trying Audulus ... pretty steep learning curve ...

Any others ?

hmmm.....
Agawell

Came here to say Numerology also. Has a ton of CV modules you can output directly from the ES-8 or you can add a midi to CV module after something like the awesome Mono Note sequencer.

Also if trackers seem interesting then try Renoise. I don't love using trackers for most things but I do love it for outputting triggers into modular. Obviously it does a ton more also but for anything rhythm related I find working in a tracker awesome.

If you've "given in to the fact that computers can be useful and fun", you can always look at Ableton Live, and/or if you're into "rolling your own", Max or Max for Live can be an incredibly powerful tool. Pretty steep learning curve, though.

Numerology all day. You have to get a Novation Launchpad to fully appreciate it's capabilities. But, yeah, it's at the core of all my sequencing.

Um is there a great difference between the mini and the big launchpad ?

What’s it do ?
