No updates but wanted to make it's own thread. Maybe the Gub'ner will pop in and give some more info. About to reduce and want to replan with this thing if I can.

I'm pretty stoked. Commenting to follow. But I have no infos.

I assume it will be like the makenoise function is the half of the MATHS,
I just hope the ANDORE will be wavetable applause
I'm pretty sure it will have a bunch of cool stuff nanners

Out of all the new offerings that have been shown since NAMM 2017 the Andore Jr and the Hertz Donut mk]|[ have been the two IME modules I've been the most excited about.

Space saving 4 stage enelope w/vca w/lpg is just too hot not to trot. I bet his hang up is probably execution of controls. He seems to put a lot of thought into layout. I just want it. Wires can and will go everywhere.

I think Scott just has a lot of irons in the fire, and is focusing on finishing one task at a time on top of keeping existing modules in stock. Right now, I think the focus is getting the HD mk III out in the wild, and he's added quite a few features there. I think the Single Andore is next on his plate. Hopefully we see it before years end. Personally I'm stoked for everything new that he's making, including this module and the new Bionic Lester.

While I agree with you that it's probably coming next after the HD mk ]|[ I kind of doubt we'll see it before years end with how the HD mk ]|[ went through a pretty radical redesign half way through it's development. I could be wrong on that but I think earliest we'll see it in it's final form is winter NAMM and it being shipped out to retailers shortly after.

Ha yeah please note I said hopefully. Haha I wouldn’t be surprised if it got delayed. Scott may choose to revise something to make it fit better in his vision of the Harvestman ecosystem. That said I have preorders in for the HD mk III, Andore and BL mk II already and that’s the very tentative time table Scott gave me.

I think he’s referring to adding the Casio CZ style phase modulation, etc.

Yup.

In the first demo of the HD Scott talked about it being a traditional 3op DX-7 phase modulation voice and then in the following demo with the chiptune primer it was redesigned to be a 3op phase distortion voice which only the casio CZ models have had.
hawkfuzz
Ah, I didn't even catch that.

Cross-posting this from the thread where it was introduced:

Dynamics are the name of the game here. The LPG is a VCA-based circuit (fwiw it's analog), but since you've got the shape control and a 4-stage envelope you may dial in an imitation of whatever *other circuit* behavior you like. The mode button does the expected VCA/LPF/both switching. There is a 2-input unity gain mixer on the VCA. It has character.

Andore is a dual envelope (dedicated trigger ins and env outs, shared controls. Envelope 2 is accessed by holding a button down and modifying the desired controls.) The shape control is a crossfade between linear and RC responses (log attack, expo decay). The velocity control has a dedicated CV input. It controls the overall height of the envelope voltage. Since it's shared between two envelopes, the velocity value is sampled at the start of each envelope trigger (mysteron style). There is also a single general purpose CV input, assignable to any of the env stages or the shape control. The envelope mode button switches from ADSR to ADSD (with the fourth slider acting as the sustain time control) to AHD to AD (self cycling). CV inputs are shared between the envelopes but the attenuverters and destinations may differ. Nobody's forcing you to use the second envelope.

Trimmers are provided to tweak the linearity of the VCA in combo mode and to add a small amount of resonance to the filter. There is an analog VCA CV input and a dedicated attenuverter for sending Envelope 1 to the VCA.

Andore is designed to quickly and conveniently provide voice control to any sound source, and offer further modulation opportunities. Relax, it's supposed to be this simple. Offered as an alternative to the large/cranky/expensive Double Andore.

I'll be needing 2 Andore.... otherwise he'll be so alone with all those Double Andore.

Triple Andore to pair with Hertz Donut mk III.

The Harvestman Guitar fap fap fap...
gringostar
I'm going with 1 Andore and 1 Mk1 Double Andore… which is basically a triple Andore.
dysonant
Now that both MKIII oscillators are released I am hoping that Andore Jr. become the main focus. I also have been thinking about two of these.

Curiously, from the Gov Blacksnake quote above it seems that the two envelopes will use the same knobs, but with the button press you can control the slopes independently, am I reading that right?
