Cwejman writeup in the new Sound on Sound

Post by Leisure Cove » Fri Oct 24, 2008 8:14 pm

Just wanted to put out a heads up: there's a review/overview of some of the newer Cwejman modules in the newest issue of Sound on Sound (November 2008), specifically the following:

VCO6 (Multi Input VCO)
PH4 (4 Phase Generator)
MX4S (4 Channel Stereo Mixer)
SPH2 (Spatial Phaser)
DMF2 (Dual Filter)
RES4 (Quad VC Resonator)
FSH1 (Frequency Shifter)
VCFC (VC Forward Compressor)
ATT4 (Quad Attenuator)
NS4 (Noise Generator)

As with all SOS reviews, the pictures are great and the article is easy-reading. Worth thumbing through if you come across one within the next month.

same here! i just looked at the prices of a couple of modules - they seem worth the cash (like modcan who are also seen as an "expensive" manufacturer) but still a lot of money.

That frequency shifter sounds sick. And one of the few modules that actually cost less than some other frequency shifters like the ASys Bode.

I definitely have no problem with Cwejman's price structure. However, my wife certainly does.

There has been a "No Cwejman for Xmas" rule imposed... :bang:

"Merry Cwejman" to the rest of y'all.

My problem with Cwejman's price structure is that I can't tell how much I'm paying for functionality and how much I'm paying for the fact that robots put it together.

I'd bet that they are cheaper due to the Cwejmanbots.
