| br>Just an idea that popped in my head.
Imagine a world with a stand-alone box based on the Tyme Sefari, merged with a 4 track recorder and looper. Not entirely like a Cocoquantus, but in that vein.
On-board RAM based recording (hardware simplicity and creative limitation, maybe like 2 minutes max at the lowest setting)
Internal busses routable to other tracks and feedback capable
Bit rate switches (tamer than the SOT effects, but capable of half and double speed playback and recording)
Playback direction switch
Varispeed control similar to TS for each track
DC Coupled (to record CV)
Loop position control per track via start/end knobs
Input gain switches for mic/line/euro levels
Maybe USB audio capable
CV inputs for most controls (loop position, direction, record, play, rate)
Of course 4x Tyme Sefaris would be an option, though I think a nice little box like this would stand out and pair well with other desktop devices. I can dream up so many uses for something like this.
Thoughts, anyone? Just daydreaming... but maybe it could come true... br> br>
