Whoop, the Panel and PCB kit arrived today from Modular Addict.
I don't seem to be able to find an up to date BOM for the v1.3/v1.31 PCBs.
This thread is for those that have bought the kit from MA and may be looking for additional information on the build as there is no documents provided with the kit.
All information that I've managed to find is for the suitcase version though the main PCBs are part of that there doesn't seem to be any photos or useful information to aid the DIYERs attempting to build their own.

At first glance I think I will be using the Song Huei 9mm pots to free up space between them for those of us with fat fingers. My initial idea was to use the t18 9mm pots with Bafaco type micro knobs but didn't want the nuts and washers showing. in addition, the T18 type pots aren't available in 5K or Rev Log types from Thonk.
Still currently at the component sourcing stage I may look into other suppliers to reduce costs on shipping from different places.
I've also contacted Scott to see if he has a current BOM and information on a few questions I have on the build, Results will be added as and when they are received.

If any wiggler has build information and tips please feel free to add them below.

This should help with others interested in building the modules.
Additionally, I've emailed Scott and asked him to add the code for the ATTINY85 IC to this thread so other can access it, waiting for a reply. How did you get on flashing the firmware, any issues?

I'm building Module B first so as the boards a complete I'll photograph them and post them up. There are very few photos if you google it and what photos there are aren't overly clear.
I've sent email number three to Scott to the email address he provided so hopefully the code for the ATTINY85 IC is en route to everyone that will need it.
I would have thought the IC would have been included pre flashed with the Panel & PCB kit as it's a non standard item. There is no information on the MA website stating that the IC will need to be flashed nor is there any information in the BOM other than 1NO ATTINY85 MICROPROCESSOR.
Guess I'm the ass because I assumed....Whoops, any how hopefully this thread will be of use to others that assume.

I'm still waiting for a few components so this method is untested. Update to follow.

Just make sure the fuses are set as noted in the source file. I use the avrdudess program which has settings for them, although you can also
put them on the CLI/command line in a shell window. The .hex file should have these fuse settings and show up in the GUI when the file is loaded.

After trawling the threads and anything I can find regarding these modules there seems to be one constant, lack of space between the knobs for maximum use of the full rotation. After offering up the 1900 knobs on to the panel of Module B, the module I'm building first, I can see the issues that this may cause further down the line.
I've gone for the Song Huei pots as well as the Befeco type micro knobs that will be added once the module is complete.

With module B finished there is a few issues:

*Longer board to board headers should be used because once the main board is populated the capacitors stand to high for standard headers to seat fully.
**The ATtiny85 flashed ok but I have no response from the 440 switch but I'll look into that.
Other than that the module works fine, filter calibrated to respond the same way as my AJH Ladder filter and VCAs calibrated accordingly. A user did post the official Minimoog service manual on the thread linked in an earlier post if you wanted to calibrate it to the original Minimoog spec.
The Song Huei pots are working well and I would recommend this change for ease of use.
I've used 1% resisters and a few 5% because that's what I had and I tried to keep costs to a minimum, Filter still sounds good.

Seeing these panels again noticed one is an Oscillator panel and the other a Contour gen filter. Module O and Module C. Old Crow indeed!

This is a build thread KSS, though your renaming may be logical, I started this thread because the BOM is illogical so with all due respect the name of the modules is the least of Scotts worries.
What would make sense is to supply a pre flashed ATtiny85 chip as well as more information. I'm ok with electronics but for folk less knowledgeable I think it would be a great help. Threads can sometime get clogged up with pointless comments and you just end up trawling the pages of nonsense to find the answers you want. That's why people start new threads on topics already listed.

Once I had all the components it went together really quickly with little fuss.
A really enjoyable build. I'm posting photos to give people an idea of components used as the BOM is a little unclear.
The filter sounds really nice with three frequency central VCOs feeding it saw waves.

Thanks KSS, I'm glad you didn't take my comment the wrong way. After buying this Panel and PCB kit, I've been able to find very little info about the Euro build and trawling through the chaff has taken up so much time, hence starting this thread. I do get your point, not sure why they had to be Module A/B at all. Have you built the module, did you encounter any issues with flashing the ATtiny85 IC?

This might go down as a 'pointless comment', but...

This is the problem with using a thread based conversation board to hold key information required to build a module. It is far from ideal and there are much better tools out there, however they don't have the surrounding community/ visibility.

The only way it works here is if the pertinent information is moved to, or referenced from, the first post. Unfortunately the only person who can do this is the thread starter who may or may not be able or willing to ensure it is maintained over time regardless of initial intentions.

It happened because reading and engagement have become secondary to point scoring.
