Hello, does anyone have any tips for how I could achieve creating cut up vocals effects like on the tracks I've posted below?

I think the Múm track is maybe a better example of what Im going for. Not sure whether it might be a tremelo effect, or maybe a vocal take cut up and then put onto a drum machine, like onto the ableton drum rack and then played in an appegiator style maybe.

The nosaj track is a bit more straight down the line cutup kinda style, but thought id include it as it is similar in ways to what i want to achieve, and the atmosphere etc.

If anyone has any ideas, or experience doing vocals like this, would love to hear from you. cheers

Múm remixed - start at 58s in.

Sampler?
Rhythmic gate? aka Rhythmic volume knob?
Stutter?
Some in the industry might refer to it as "triple scoops of vanilla".

Sounds like a side chained gate or some type of rhythmic gate as @mt3 suggested.

It simply sounds like the vocals are run through a VCA which is gated separately (from a keyboard, sequencer or LFO, and via an envelope of course).

You can do this pretty easily on an Octatrack, using slices and retrigs+delay.

I find it overused in House tracks but that Mum remixed track, it's not over the top.
