208r PULSER leaking in audio channel (and ENV too)

Author 208r PULSER leaking in audio channel (and ENV too)

Hello 208ers

is there any setting to reduce the clicking from the pulser

is distinctly noticeable in the audio output directly (the main volume have no relation)

if I set to audio frequencies is like a VCO

the same happens to the ENV if I set it to autorepeat
the click is audible in the audio outputs

thanks

thanks

it's a little bit different

for me it's an audio leak: it's a click coming out for every pulse (and ENV loop)
directly from the outputs (or headphone)

the main volume or the headphone volume are not affecting it

It could have something to do with poor power distribution

waiting for a new PSU/cincon (could be a 211 problem)

I have this same issue on a 208r v1 and am using a BEMI power supply and busboard. seriously, i just don't get it

you're right, now I have a beefy cincon PSU and the problem persists

I think this is probably a different symptom of the same underlying problem that causes the oscillator frequencies to sag when LEDs are lit - poor power distribution inside the module.

However: what gauge wire is used from the module to the power connector that plugs into the bus board? And how long? I built mine with 45cm of 18awg cable, which is much thicker than most people use and bleed from the pulser and envelope is pretty quiet in mine (I have used it live at pretty extreme volume and the audio bleed through the LPGs dwarfs any clicking from the pulser/envelope.)

I've desoldered the LED connection to test if the problem was related, and the click of the end cycle is still there

I have 18awg 40~45 cm power cable
