I got some cable ties to hold the cables so i can access the knobs better, but they are too big. Does anyone know where i can get some that will fit these thinner cv cables?

thanks

I did do that, but they are the hook through ones, so i still hate them. too thick as well. Annoying to take off.

Maybe try bread twist ties?

Exciting stuff! You should be able to find all available options on amazon or ebay if you scroll down enough.

I use these. Cut them into 10cm parts. I still have lots to spare.
I had around 60 cables 3-6 meters split into 3 groups. They work great.
I get a smaller size. It wraps tightly around the cables.

Edit: Just saw you wanted them for cv cables.
You can get the spiral wrapping bands in small sizes and use the excess for wiring your gear. So they could be an option.
Local hardware store may sell them too.

Have you tried clip ons?

I hate the fact that I get most of my schtuff off amazon, but oh well, found these there https://www.amazon.com/Darller-Reusable-Fastening-Organizer-Management  /dp/B072Q9RSP3/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1526835678&sr=8-3&keywords=Colo red+velcro

I just get rolls of hook and loop fastener. Then cut to length to suit. You can usually find it in hardware stores and such.

Sometimes I'll be working on a patch for a week or more at at time. So I like to velcro cables out of the way.
Also, rolls of Velcro come in two different types. there is the thin kind which is pre-perforated at regular intervals. Then there is the thicker kind which works better when you cut it up.

i think anker might make some small ones

I like this stuff:

https://www.amazon.com/Oldhill-Fastening-Tapes-Reusable-Straps/dp/B074 6FW5HB/ref=sr_1_4?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1531069086&sr=1-4&keywords=hook+and +loop+tape

it's a half inch wide and very thin, so it doesn't make such a lump.
